This is a simple recipe to re-use some ingredients that we've already had on hand, like the darling little green leaves found on the tops of our freshly bought strawberries... So here goes, get ready!

Ingredients
1 Strawberry Tops Leaves
1 c Water
1 c Sugar
Simmer tops with leaves for 10 minutes to make a simple syrup. The key to this formula is equal parts water and sugar. After simmering, strain the mixture to strain away the leaves. This extracts the meat of the fruit, ie (the flesh) red that was bound to the leaves, [hopefully] to leave the syrup only, after completing these steps.
