L.A. promised $30 million to people wronged by gang curfews. Why has only half been spent?

The City of Los Angeles agreed to pay $30 million to thousands of people affected by gang injunctions. But court records show around half of the money remains unclaimed, and a federal judge ordered an audit of the city's management of the fund earlier this year.

Prosecutors say rapper Lil Durk may be linked to second killing as judge orders him jailed in L.A. case

Federal prosecutors said Thursday that Durk Devontay Banks — the Grammy winner known as Lil Durk — may be linked to a second murder in Chicago and accused him of putting out bounties for other killings, including one for a family member of a witness.
